Learning To Lie

These prison walls,
The curtains, tattered, shorn,
Wave against the windows,
The walls of this prison,
Bare, hateful, forlorn,
Abused by a Traitor's Moon,
Which shines with no reprieve.
A falling of the fellow heart
which makes everything
from this view,
look okay.
I have learned to lie.

Please tell me what you think

A vivid write, but lying only ends up taking you to a worse situation. Staying true to yourself, now there is the real feat...

    shorn should be torn.

This piece is very short, but gets a beautiful message across just the same. The subject is sad, and the emotion is tremendous. Beautiful imagery too! Great Work!

This definately is painful, isolation is always painful, it's worse when it's in our heart.

    good reading
