What can a King give to his noble Queen
When she has all of life before her throne
What treasures can there be she hasn't seen
When she has half a kingdom of her own
A rose so dark its red appears as black
Would lie upon her pillow every morn
A single kiss to bring her memory back
To times before the modern world was born
He'd work until her fondest wish came true
Allowing lesser men to serve her well
In time the Queen will know he always knew
That she was doomed to fall beneath his spell
An elven King would give his noble Queen
A magic gem that shines immortal green

A love poem to win the heart of an elfin queen. If only the king would realize she would surrender all she possesses for only this poem and an eternity of serving in his court.
Love,

Very Good
A touch of magic in a fairy tale, loved it especially the closing line.
