What if....
he loves me not?
Desperation has prised apart
an intimacy sought,
as loneliness and fear
skirt around bare edges.
One more daring move
plucks unknown answer.
Result...completion
and renaissance,
or,
proud beauty
silently, invisibly
shedding pollen
of regret.

100th Hood-Wink!
This is an amazing take on the prompt - I really like the pollen of regret at the end - it is a beautiful image, tinged with the weary sadness of the poem
... I also love the 'daring move' - this has some great imagery in it - I wish you the best of luck in the contest!
Keep writing
Polly
