A verb or noun the foundation,
as language makes its call.
The writer's pen conversation,
on pages loosely fall.
This whispered thought he must convey
in ink's echoes resound.
Each tender touch his words portray
his reader's eye astound.
Enraged phrases, the bitter twist,
and hateful words conflict.
The tears of fear as words persist,
suspense of thought depict.
My heartbeat races, as pages grip,
my coffee going cold.
I hear his voice echo on lip,
his words and thoughts take hold.
A journey shared through time's divides.
The master's student hears
and takes her pen as sound confides
the need to face her fears.
A verb or noun the foundation,
as language makes its call.
The writer's pen conversation,
on pages loosely fall.

If you know me you know who the voice is, if not tough!
