Rosy cheeks, hair astrew,
Eyes of a crystal, lively blue.
Full of laughter, giggles, and glee,
Brings back memories to me.
Like some forgotten broken mold,
With a heart of molten gold,
And with a touch of magic here,
Lain down in this one so dear.
Simple joys in life abound,
And with this one I have found,
A person who is not but just a friend,
But to me one from heaven sent.
For in our bouts of plight and flee,
we still remain heldfast and free,
And hold each other dear and close,
For its us that we know the most.
So in my final breath I hope to take,
A glimpse of my friend in my final shakes,
For without fear I'll go to end,
For even then it will not and can not rend,
And even though it maybe be turned and tossed,
Its something that we have never lost.
So let us stand in the sands and snows,
And we mayn't know just where each other goes.
And though we may travel near and far,
We'll always have a piece of each other's hearts.
