The Moment

Desperately i long
for the moment
that did not last
yet for me
will never end

Every time she looked
into my eyes she saw
what i did not show
yet in her eyes
i saw myself
for the first time

Never have i met
a robot that
brought out so much
feeling and passion
out of me

I have never again
relived that moment
yet part of me
has never stopped living
in that moment

So i go on living
in two moments
the moment that
passes by
and the moment
i never left

Expecting some day
that for me
moments will be no more
i know in my heart
that my last will be
the moment i never left

The subject of this poem used to call herself a robot, not feeling any emotions. A little hint, look at the first letter of every paragraph. It well tell who the subject is. I wanted to see if she would pick-up on it. She is a very good poet on this site.
