Cursed Connections

I gaze at blissful moonlight
From the sorrowed tempest of my contemplation
My backyard is a sanctuary
Tinted with subtle solitude
That prolongs the waiting time
Time rather spent with you
Inducing lurid thoughts
Flesh and bone of demons
And only silver orbs
Can bring me from the ravine
For when I stare unto the moon
On balmy nights of greatest June
Images of your angelic soul
Trapped within the monstrous visage
Of your unwonted curse
Your electric cerulean eyes
Fixated towards the sky
Sifting through prematurely
Painted leaves
And for an infinitesimal moment
Our meandering minds
Are connected by the fact
That we are both gazing at the glowing
Silver light of summer moon

This is definitely a different approach. That it was a werewolf explains the contrasting images, the beauty and solitude mixed with the lurid. I would think to have such a love would indeed produce such contrasts. I personally, never related the moon with any dark sights though.
