Nothing
is not something;
in fact it isn't anything either.
It lies about
all over the place,
but you can't see it,
can't even trip over it.
It just waits there
for ever and ever.
What is it waiting for?
It's waiting for
its invisible partner,
Never;
but of course,
Never ever comes.

I would make this just one piece without the stanzas or the stand alone lines.
As such it works well I believe. Thanks for your entry -
