Shadows of the Breeze

Wanderer, what would all this be,
These secrets from the apple tree?
These anecdotes caught in the breeze,
Are often forced for you to see

I swear it's from the apple tree!
It's true, you see, believe in me!
If breeze is only what you see,
Then sure to you it cannot be

Then why should I believe in you,
You crazy-thought pathetic fool?
Surely it would only do
To show me proof that it is true

The proof you'll find between the lines;
Thought provoking, but study time,
For there you'll find what lies behind
The lies they've placed within your mind

    Oh oh oh, splendid! Full of wit and so thought-provoking. And as always, very well penned. Countless times I've thought something similar, but not with such eloquent finesse.
