i miss him already
as brothers we were
he left his family
now it is just a blurr
10 months ago i met
a soldier for life
our flightdate was set
he kissed his wife
our kids played
together we barbequed
our wives stayed
we battled a blood feud
finally came the day
he got a letter
he on the 5th of may
will be a father
only two days and
he will finally reach home
obeying a command
he was lost in a blood storm
and now i stand here
at his funeral
drying a wife's acid tear
and now i look at his grave
so honorable
for his country he stood brave
