Abandoned discarded unwanted trash
Alone, naked sitting on a pile of ash
Broken, beaten, bleeding, blue-gray
Bewildered, bemused, hope taken away
Cruel crooked men robbed dignity from her
Contemplating why these tragedies would occur
Defeated, depressed, down, despairing
Does life need to be so callous and uncaring?
Excruciating pain pierces pleasure
Emptiness steals away all treasure
Fornication for fleeting fortune flies
Fondling her own breasts she cries
Gracious God, where are you in my despair?
Goodness seems gone. Are you even there?
Hell's heated holocaust haunts
Hypocritical ridicule taunts
I am here he answers in the silent air
I have have and always will be there
Justice, joyous, jubilation
Jesus brings into your broken fragmentation

WOW. This one gave me palpitations as I read it wide-eyed. A suspenseful read up to an inspiring twist at the end. Well done! Thanks so much for helping me in my time of need. I appreciate more than you know.

What a fantastic quatrain penned with rhyme, meter and alliteration. The emotional impact of composing it this way is extremely powerful.
