we think about the past but learn from it so little,
time passes so fast you can get caught in the middle.
The past cannot be lived in it’s just a memory ,
but as you live each second it becomes your past you see.
Your future becomes your present as you live it day by day,
and if you feel a bit confused that’s the price you have to pay.
Whilst you’re thinking of the future it then becomes your past,
you can only live in the present so enjoy it while it lasts.

You have done a very good job with the prompt you chose, I like how you explain time in our life in each of the stages. "The past cannot be lived in it’s just a memory" this is my favorite line because many of us live in the past and have trouble moving on. But the past is just that; the past, a memory of what has happened. You have done a great job, thank you for taking the time to enter my contest!

Great write. Really makes a person think about time. It's like in the present, the past and future can seem to exist simultaneously sometimes. Also, love the title you chose for this piece.
