Pearlisk Siloutte

Softly cotton feathers fell,
Pledged from heaven's gates.
Blanketing earthly nature pale,
Kissed in  blushful coral's wake.

All in nature reveled in white,
So fresh and crisp and clean.
Creation sleeps in sung lullaby,
On swishing winds of mystery.

All furry creatures fast asleep,
Nestled deep within their dens.
Await spring thaw in sweet reprieve,
From Winter's grip to make amends.

To everything,a turn,a time and reason.
Blissfulness abounds in flourished season.

I like this poem for two major reasons: it is rich in imagery and it contains no contrived rhymes or meter

Really lovely. I love your title, your wording is beautiful, great images and reads nicely. I can't pick out a favorite verse - they were all so nice and went so well together.

Thank you for your lovely entry
    best wishes in the contest
