the kindest thing you could do

make sure the milk hasn't expired
take the trash out before it overflows
crack me open a long neck
empty out the ash trays
pick the hair out of the drains
put the toilet seat down
light me a butt off the stove
tell the people upstairs to keep it down
rewind the tap in the VCR

sit down and watch it with me
