Gray mist crept over fields of amber gray
Silence stilled the sound of distressed silence
Bay breeze stirred the cold waters of the bay
Fragrance filled air wrapped in clouds of fragrance
Distinct smell sweet scent I could not distinct
Chill cleared midst as snow fell from winter's chill
Succinct sound broke calm where I stood succinct
Shrill, shriek, despairing cry, an echoed shrill
Bones broke, snapped cracked chilling my frail bones
Run, flee, heart pounded yet legs would not run
Groans grew louder filling my ears with groans
Gun blast blew through air; my hand held a gun
Dropped to my knees, from my face tears dropped
Stopped dead at my feet, a dark shadow stopped

Echo sonnets are not easy beasts!
Well worked example and I can see the form's inventor and mistress has read it.
The form aside it is a good strong poem for content too.
Nice writing and thanks for the entry

Well done! You have mastered the Sonnet to a point where you can weave it into the dark genre with ease. The words you used for the rhyme and fantastic.
Love,
Amera♥

That ending was.......wow. This is spectacular!! Your sonnets are getting better and better. I really enjoy them immensely!
