Walking, walking
this welcoming way
seasons shade into each other
sun shimmering between the shadows
and as the road turns
yet more trees curve into view
their boughs bending in the breeze.
a lifelong arch
with no end in view.

Peaceful
I'm glad I found your page.
This is an exceptional work. It is a nature poem at it's best and you should be proud. I'll be reading more of you and I am looking forward to it.

A great metaphor, the road/ our life continues to curve with no end in sight, that is until eyes close for the last time.
I hope all is well with you my friend
Let the ink flow!
many blessings, Sandi

There is certainly a curvature to stretch our necks at, I somehow feel where restriction is, maybe your house in on the bend on the road, even during walks, wow, I bet that;s some kind of arc. well, done

Beautiful metaphor in this. We travel each, a unique path, ready to bend at times, and unable to at others.
This is quite lovely. Thank you for an excellent entry. ~Pamela
