There is an angel I know
sitting beside me
as I go,
He won't let me down,
He won't turn me away,
He seems to be here to stay.
He whispers in my ear,
comforts me when I am scared,
He gently guides me through
when I don't know where to turn.
I feel his hand gently pushing
me forward,
helping me as I go.
I feel his love,
holding me close to him,
when times are hard.
He won't let me down,
never has, and never will,
This angel of mine.

Oh I must have a angel too...I'm still around which is a miracle. Oh this was just beautiful to read. I loved it and it was so sof and gentle with imagery and spiritual emotions. Thank you for sharing with me my dear sweet friend. I've missed you!!

A unique poem. I suppose in this materialistic world, very few think about their angel. This reminded me I have one too. It also reminded me of what such an angel can do. Had I written this I would have included some nature scenes. But this does not detract anything of this poem. Well done. victorbuhagiar -
