Pointsetta looked up at her tree
It was filled with holiday glee
Her faery powers full in bloom
For she was a christmas Faery
Pointsetta flew up to the top
And there she placed atop
a small pointsetta flower.
She grabbed her bulbs and bows
and decorated the boughs
the tree was aglow with red and green
When her friend Kathalene
came in and said in awe
"How magickal"
Kathalene helped her put on the finishing touches
as pointsetta flew around, with something in her clutches
It was a small bit of faery dust
and with a flourish,
She threw it at the tree.
The tree lit up,
And seemed to live on its own.
Kathalene and Pointsetta grinned
and welcomed the holiday in.
