Bronze

I am not steel
nor am I candle wax
flowing from the heat of fire.

I am more like bronze
burnished under the sun.

Form me with love
and I will always be
strong enough
bending to reflect your beauty.

This was a wonderful metaphor that interpreted the prompt to perfection. I wish I had thought of it myself. Burnished bronze is beautiful and so evocative of the warmth of love. May I suggest a comma after "enough"? Good luck in this contest. Peace, Liz
