It's time for gentle snowflakes
To fall and kiss the ground
Falling from the skies above
Falling without a sound
The whiteness is a miracle
That brings a state of calm
Like angel wings a floating
To a heavenly written psalm
The way it wraps the tree tops
The bushes and the grass
It's beauty all around you
And you hope it will never pass
But you know it will be over
Short lived this special day
However, keep your eyes on high
It will come again your way

I always get a special glow when I read about someone else liking the snow as much as I do. Your poem is so soft and reads just perfectly. Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest.

I feel, contemplate and listen through your gentle snowflakes, a sweet, silent, warm and colourful symphony.

Lovely wording - such a soft feel to this - like the gentle snowflakes drifting down. Nice rhyme, flow is good. Nice ending too. I especially like the verse,
'The whiteness is a miracle
That brings a state of calm
Like angel wings a floating
To a heavenly written psalm'
Thank you for your entry.
best wishes in the contest.
