Hello, Midnight Lady.
It's good to see your smile.
Come lay down beside me
for awhile.
I see you in my mind,
in everything it seems,
but can only hold you tightly
in my dreams.
Hello, Midnight Lady.
It's good to see your smile.
Come lay down beside me
for awhile.
Welcome to my dreamworld.
I long to hold you near
so I can whisper love words
in your ear.
Hello Midnight Lady
It's good to see your smile.
Come lay down beside me
for awhile.
Hello Midnight Lady
It's good to see your smile.
Come lay down beside me
for awhile.

I like this, yeah it's always good to go for something a little different. My dreams are a hazy strangeness also.

lovely song...but i think u can add a few more lines... a few more lovely thoughts about love...

Thanks
I plan to expand this. It is in it's infancy.

I love it... It's ovbiously full of emotion. The chorus of this peice is amazing
'so I can whisper love words
in your ear.'
I however question the use of the term 'love words'. I can't think of another appropriate rhyme and in my personal opinion think that sometimes its better to relax the rhyme a little bit to keep the the beautiful words that you have been using flowing. Good luck completing this peice, I have confidence that it will be amazing.

Great Lyrics!
I write songs & melodies as well. The minute I began to read yours a melody came to mind. I look forward to reading the finished work. I especially liked "Welcome to my dreamworld.
I long to hold you near." Absolutely beautiful!

Thank you DeeDee
This is actually my first song other than a parody of Margaritaville.
Glad you liked it.

And as per your author's notes- a fabulous rendering thus far. Bobby Darin couldn't of sung of his "Dream Lover" any better.
