Warm spring day brings about
The green trees in full bloom
I see you standing there
Smiling at me warmly in the sun
With the Spirit in your eyes
Bluebird in the clear sky
If you were human what would you say?
Would you tell everyone about the Spirit in her eyes?
Even though were seperated by an infinite distance
I still feel that you are right beside me
With even these thoughts of deep longing
Maybe one day you will again be smiling at me
Violet flower in your golden hair
Is nothing compared to what's inside you
Pure care from you fills my heart with complete levity
While looking at the Spirit in your eyes
And any warm day at Spring's end
I will always think of you
And the Spirit in your eyes

This poem is about the girl that cares for me the most. My personal favorite work of yours is "Golden Children". It has a nice ring.

I love this. It's beautiful and unique. The repetition of "the Spirit in your eyes" really makes the poem more powerful. I love how you expressed your love for the person in a different way than outwardly saying it. :] Thanks so much for entering my contest.
