I See a Pretty Girl

I see a pretty girl,
she's standing right there.
Staring at me with hollow eyes.

She's got a welcoming face,
and a cute little smile.
But her eyes.. Dull, and hollow.

Staring at her and taking her in.
I like the way her hair looks today.
But I don't see any emotion,

[Behind those hollow eyes.]

She doesn't know who she is.
She's just staring at herself in a mirror.
And there's nothing  but insecurity,

behind
[my hollow eyes]
