in the sea shell lies the secret

the moist sand tickling my toes
the sea waves wetting my feet
I bended to pick up
the sea shell I liked
his hands held mine
he placed another shell in my palm
asked me to hold it tightly
listen to it
his heavenly voice whispered
before I could catch his eyes
he disappeared
The shell screamed love
loud yet gently it confessed
his secret love
but how I wondered?
I do not know
who is he
his eyes are strange to me
I never caught his look
the shell sang
the song of love
begged my heart to listen
and reply to this
I whispered back
am scared
would he come back
I wondered if the shell
would tell him
how much for true love I long
like sea shells to the sea belong
oh,I wish
the sea shell could really scream
of the feelings of love
of which I dream
but in the sea shell
the secret lies
that of my lonely heart
