(Lady MacBeth)
Honey sweet in devious eyes
She goads him like a sharpened knife
And smiles to see a kings demise
The coal black heart of MacBeth's wife
Encircling him with vines that choke
The pointing finger accuses well
Visions of witches to envoke
Uncompared to her dark spell
Snakely, hissing words of death
All sweetened by her liquor lies
He breaks into a terror'd sweat
And prays the victim's ghost won't rise
His cowardly heart she cut in twain
With tongue of fire she voiced his sin
Defences all but lost and gone
Her venom drips beneath his skin
He feels resistance giving way
And longs for lifeless, slumbered bliss
As she took his soul in bargain foul
And sealed it with her serpent's kiss
