Mnemosyne and Zeus

She has reason to dance and sing
coming from a mystical garden in Greece
she is the wife  of  a spiritual God named Zeus,
the Goddess of memory named Mnemosyne
who gave birth to their daughters all nine.

All muses that give inspiration and life
to artists and poets of all kind.
With passion and vision she gave each their mystical names,
Calliope, Clio, Erato, Euterpe, Melpomene, Polyhymnia,
Terpsichore,Thalia ,and Urania.

Soon they all developed a uniqueness of their own,
Epic, History, Lyric, Music, Tragedy, Sacred,
Dance, Comedy, and Astronomy;
their beauty is now shared by all those of us who dare
using one or two of them as our very own.

Author notes

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge -- myth is more potent than history -- dreams are more powerful than facts -- hope always triumphs over experience -- laughter is the cure for grief -- love is stronger than death.

      All Muses are said to have come via her.Thought I'd put them all together along with their specialties and see what I could come up with.
