holiday cheer

with winter here
and snow on the way
the spirit of christmas is alive
whether shopping for presents
or helping somone in need this time of year
caroling, singing, and enjoy a warm cup of eggnog
opening presents, waiting for santa, or
kissing your crush under the mistletoe
the biggest tree of all at rockafeller center
people in love, having christmas parties, or ice skating on the rink
with each passing second
there's hope in all the homes of the world
for jesus christ brought hope and faith to the people hidden in darkness
change a tear for a smile
a loved one's together worthwhile
in getting into the spirit of joy there's christmas and holiday cheer

    This is a wonderful Christmas poem to get anyone in the holiday mood. Sounds like such fun things to do. I always wanted to ice skate but I'd be certain to break something I needed. Good luck in the contest, I enjoyed this.
