I see her walk through the woods
such beauty that I never knew before,
oh how my heart does scream out for her
yet my lips never utter a word.
A maiden so fair
whose image will be forever trapped within my mind,
our paths had crossed
and she had enlightened me with such love.
But now is gone,
and all I have is the memory of this maiden,
this angel
that these arms once held
and this lips once kissed hers.
She will always be in my mind,
now and forever.

A beautiful poem you have penned. It is so true. There are always those we never seem to forget and always wonder how they are. Thank you for entering the contest. Best of luck.
