Would I settle for only one
End up having half the fun?
But bosom really means a pair
So I'm glad and don’t despair.
If you add that final little s
I'm afraid it does not impress.
For me that brings in another person
Regardless of other poets cursin’
Breast is one and breasts are two
That is clear to me and you
But bosom can be une or deux
The context allows you to infer.
Bosoms is not really wrong I think
I wonder why there was such a stink.
Let’s not get hung up on every word
Judge the poetry and don’t be absurd

The last stanza is what the matter is about, or was, maybe still is lol
I begin to wish I had big ones after reading so much about
Thanks Jim for being part of the fun

Remembering the controversy earlier this year was the prompt for this and yes, the last line is my response to that "lady".
I do hope you sent her a link to this competition.
Oops I have just realised what is in the middle of that word compeTITion!
As for big or small the joy of internet communications such as these is that it truly does not matter (just as it should be in real life).
Thanks for providing this weeks big chuckle.

You and Legend
can get so strange at times. Must be the British weather.
I also thought if you had:
1 mouse 2 mice
1 blouse 2 blice?
Or
1 goose 2 geese
1 moose 2 meese?
It is certainly a strange language you have handed over to us Yanks.

Wasn't it Wilde who said two nations seperated by a common language?
If spouse is singular like mouse why is the plural not spice (like mice)?
Anyway I do appreciate your reading and writing and have no problems about being thought strange (but not queer LOL).
BTW talking of Legend here's a brilliant crossword clue I came across this week.
sote legend (4 letters)
