rain scribbles river
initiating small rivulet;
it flows,
grows bigger
with each addition of other.
A dam built across
stores water behind;
river course remains,
surplus water flowing
along defined course.
what ever we do;
alter its course
merge with other;
all water flows into sea
the story of water drop
has same ending;
finding union with great ocean.

I absolutely love how you have woven the authors notes with this poem. Especially the last line, it all fits together so perfectly. Well done my friend and all the best for the contest.

Fine Job
I love the message and story in this piece. It makes one look at the bigger piece of the smaller one. One drop of rain becoming an ocean. So inspirational. Great write, friend. ~
