The sea nymph,
forlorn,
the last of her kind.
Rises above the waves,
to meet her destiny.
So innocent,
she spots a castle
and is unaware of its nature.
Seized,
bound,
forced as a mystic slave.
A slave to the humans
in the castle.
They laugh as she struggles,
spit in her face.
And she cries for Neptune,
the God that made her.
And in his cruel anger,
waves formed from
rage erupt
and destroy the evil castle.
He finds her,
floating to the sea floor,
disfigured, dead.
And he returns her,
to the sea.
