Even though we're miles apart,
I still feel you close to my heart.
The days go by, and I wonder when
I'll be able to sing with you again.
Though times are hard,
I'll be the first to admit.
I can't drink mint tea,
without smiling a bit.
I can't help but wonder,
why your there and not here.
But then I'm like wait,
china is pretty great.
But then I remember,
that you've always been free.
A lone wolf, a guardian,
a true friend to me.
While days are long,
and nights a bore.
I know that soon we'll
be watching Tenacious D.
And when your home,
I can swear to you.
That you won't get,
no 80's hairdo.
So come back soon,
& sing Allahs tunes.
I swear we can buy,
those fried noodle sacks.
Author notes
This poem is for my best friend Ryan who is in China at the moment. While I know he has a great cause & is doing a great deal for the people there- I can't help but be selfish and wish he were home. (Mostly to make me sushi at three in the morning...! ha ha, kidding!) This is for you Ryan! I hope it makes you laugh & cooks your already fried noodle sack!

Yeah, thanks, I'm sitting here reading this in front of my Computer Screen and I look like a damn Maniac sitting here laughing my Ass off at the Wall(as it looks to People outside) and cooking my already fried Noodle Sack!! OMG, I can't wait to see what someone who doesn't understand us comments on this! LMAO
I love you and I will be Home sooner than you think!
God Bless!
