more scars to remind you what a hypocrite you really are
and a sound that's familiar, it sounds like home
reminding you maybe you took this too far
were your plans to destroy me
to risk all we had
forget all the heartbreak
and just keep the bad
it's too fucking simple
i'm starting to understand
that nothings' forever
so forget all you've planned...
These are what days are like now
it's quiet, even silent at best
a few tears that never reached you
a heart lay dead inside your chest
tell me, what's it like to be so cold?
so frozen to this world,
tell me, what's it like to be so bold?
ignore the words i know you heard.
so i distance myself from the very thought you of..
floating slowly into my own demise
forever isn't very long, i've seen
and honestly it's no suprise
i held your hand, i gave you love
cried with you and never gave up
i put in the time, all for what
cured you when your skin begged "cut"
was i right...were you right...
were we ever right at all?
but don't worry
my back will heal
bruises will fade
the cuts will seal
and all you tried to do
will be for nothing
