Within You, I Hold the Moon (for JinSays)

Within your eyes I see the moon
and the colors of our rainbow
Distant are the hours of bloom
but within, your hearts aglow...
                you've stolen my breath away
                and turned my world from gray
adding color with your loving ways

Embracing you I hold the world
as the pleasures sweetly unfold
Your breathing slows, toes curled
and the words become ever so bold...
                your the moon and the sun
                a combination of love and fun
bringing comfort to days on the run

Precious is the harvest of life
when a couple can blend in love
With strength to beat all the strife
that's becomes intolerable and tough
                    in your eyes I can touch the moon
                    and feel the pressure releasing soon
as each moment with you makes me swoon

So tonight I'm holding tight
to the holder of the moon
With each kiss, a star shines bright
and I know the rest's about to bloom
                    she'll glow with passionate delight
                    and the moon will be bright in sight
as she lays tenderly by my side tonight

        hahaha so yes as i have just said in comments when i am drunk yeah go for it, but find an error in one of my poems? they are checked and double checked before posting. you have not the skill, without being rude to you, to correct me on grammar or spelling etc

    I’m so glad I found this, not only is it full of tenderness and love for a friend, but it is a very fine piece of writing. It has a wonderful flow and rhythm. I’m beginning to discover that if we really care about our subject the words seem to find their own way on to the page.
