Trixie the Pesky Mouse,
Trixie takes a Cool Ride on Oakville’s Care a Van !   ( special buses for people with disabilities ! )

Well hi again my dear friend’s.
I come to you once again with another
Exciting Trixie story.
It seems that while visiting with her two favourite cousin’s Maxie Mouse and Dixie Mouse, she had to go to the Oakville Trafaglar Hospital.
In this author’s opinion one of the best hospital’s in Ontario.
And believe me when I say I have had operations of a great number of them but I was never looked after as well as in this fine place.

Well it wasn’t a very serious operation,
she just had to go in to get her tonsil’s removed !
A simple procedure that almost every child goes through.
A simple procedure, is the key phrase in this context.
Since she has Parkinson’s Disease, she qualified and was accepted immediately.
She was a bit nervous about riding the Care a Van alone, but never the less, she bravely went out and got in the cute little bus when it arrived at her door.

The bus drver’s name was Doug and he was a very cheery fellow.
They had a lovely conversation about this and that and before you know it they were in the Hopital parking lot.
Well she was shaking like a leaf so Doug, decided that he would take her right into the preop room and wait for her to be admitted.
She was his last pick up that day any way.
Well Trixie was so thankful that she reached up and gave him a big hug and a kiss.
Doug turned beat red, as he had never been kissed by a mouse before.

So when Trixie’s operation was over,
Of course it was Doug who was there
in his little cute bus to take her home.
She invited him in for cake and coffee,
Which was his favourite food .
And they became fast friend’s.
The moral of this cute little story is
“ Doug Is the Care in Care a Van.
