Injustice

Which is the true injustice?
Showing our qualities amongst our peers,
Or being attacked at every turn by the insecure?
Surely there is another way besides turning the other cheek.
I find myself withdrawn farther within myself,
No longer wishing to be apart of a corrupt society

in the last line you put "a part" as one word. other than that nice job, really has some good points. thanks for entering

  • A very thought-provoking piece
    Gets the mind working

  • Hard-hitting and crystal-clear. Not as "poetic" as I would like, but that's a matter of personal taste. Well done!

I like this I think it is a very deeply written work of art here. It is well written and speaks of your thoughts and feelings well. Good job. Thanks for sharing this with us. and I am glad that you are still being active in the group. I for one do appreciate it.

    Great!

These six lines speak so loudly. You absolutely get it!! It is the "insecure," that seem to always be on the attack of things they are too ignorant to understand. I really enjoyed this piece!

I will have to get back with you ...

You have inspired me to ponder furthermore on this poem, on the questions contained within ... Very poignant, honest, and humble ...

... so I am off ... be back with you soon ...

So you know that I am grateful for the presentation of such a brilliant question ... I give you all the applause that I can ...

    Here they are ...

"A forthcoming, and overtly willing mind and heart working together I feel always remains free!

    Regardless!

    Welcome to Allpoetry

    Hello joebliss,

I feel that you should always stand up for yourself. You should not let someone who is not secure in themselves force you into being quite.

I think this is a very good question you share with your reader.
