Questions.

Death. To be feared, accepted, welcomed even?
who is to know until it is too late
too late for yourself, too late to warn those you love
A relief from life, from hate?

Life. To be feared, accepted, welcomed even?
Who knows until you are at it's very depths or heights
decisions collide through emotion,
Until finally at rest in the comfort of the nights.

Love. To be feared, accepted, welcomed even?
To be close offers comfort, happiness, disaster, heartbreak
To be closed offers loneliness, empty and cold
Choosing to hand out your heart for wolves to take.

    - Great opening for each stanza. Really makes you think. Is death as bad as people like to say? Or do most people look forward to it? Welcome it? And the same with love. Is it as wonderful as people say? Is it welcome or more feared because of the heart break that sometimes comes from it?

Great write. One of those poems that make people really think and put their life into perspective.

Wonderful. To me, it feels very finished. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

    • So sorry it's taken so long to reply, as you can see i haven't been around in a while. Thanks for the comment, yeah it really did come from thinking too much about everything. I really have no idea what to do with it now so it might have to stay like this. I don't think that's too bad though.
      Thanks again for the comment.
