How can you truthfully call the night dark
When its beauty shines all around
Little stars twinkle into sight
And the moon glows with power
Small wild creatures, with their big eyes
Come out to see what the light world hides
Staring in awe they scurry around
To explore and enjoy the trees
Under the night's spotlight
Shadowed and mysterious to those foreign
To the few unwelcomed into the midnight
The dark that it signifies
Is honestly inaccurate
Great life dwells in the darkness
Clearly showing the world
There's nothing shadowed and dark about the night.

I like your choice of imagery, but you tend to be kind of wordy when you could shorten a lot of your lines and say the same thing and be a lot more effective.

AW, SO SWEET!!!!
When I was young and sleeping outside my bedroom window I would see each and every one of these beautiful things and hear all of the night animals!
's I love nature so much!
