She heard them whispering
admiring her beauty
loving her
without even knowing her
she should be used to it
its been like this for years
this is what she wanted
isn't it?
she couldn't blame them
how could they not
she was the essence of beauty
with blue eyes and blood red lips
wrapped in the skin of a ghost
delicate and graceful as a small child
a dark angel with her raven black hair
how little they knew
how their admirations where mocking
she was forever wishing
needing
to be more
more to him
them
not just the sullen beauty
with cheeks the color of blood
flowing gracefullly over her white skin
she cursed
because even that was perfect
the red on white
like it was made to be
she dreamed of death
why live
when the beauty she sold her soul for
was what cursed her to eternal misery

on beauty
this is interesting especially for me who is doing a research on beauty. just for sharing: what people perceive as beautiful are facial features that look healthy : )
that's why the "cheeks with the color of blood: signifies proper nourishment.
nice one!
