Kiss of death
drags me down
from
grief
to
depression,
anger bursts forth
pain inflicted
to me
by me
from me...
This is
your fault
my fault
everyone's fault,
yet still
it is ultimately
the fault of no one but fate.
Now we see the
Kiss of (Serenity)
reflected down upon me
by understanding that
despite my suffering
I am not alone
not alone,
still able to engage
in friendship
in happiness
(however fleeting)
and find enjoyment from
helping those around me.
...Now I see the
Kiss of (Serenity)
flying about in the guise of
a hummingbird
watching me
coming closer
yet still too
fleeting to hold
and envelop me.
