Mystic Uprising!

The beast went out
to steal but succumbed
by vanity

Banished into obscurity
as steaming vapors

Life flourished amidst
mirky deluge

As flowers of will
bloomed evermore

Tho darkness creep
within our gates and
depleats joyful mist

What lurks beneath
the surface suffice
a distant yearning bliss

for, "such is life!"

Author notes

The point of this piece is to
give honor to the human spirit.
Tho we toil and experience many
vile and bittersweet things in life
the ends always justify the means.
So why cry over spelled milk so to speak,
because "SUCH IS LIFE!"

I think I understand you to mean that no matter what problems fall into our lives, the human spirit will still insist on hope, and a belief in a better way. Thank you for this entry.

The human spirit is resiliant...often attempting the impossible, attaining miracles. We all walk the path of life with different goals, reaching utopia by different means...ah! such is life Clever take on the prompt. Good luck in the contest

    Superb

Ah, a fine write, yet I hope you are being sarcastic, for I do not believe that the end always justifies the means. What if your house or apt, was sold to a developer who wanted to kick you out with only a 3 day notice so he could tear down your former dwelling place and build a condo?

Does wanting to build a condo; justify making you homeless? None the less, you expressed yourself quite well.

This really expresses the lines "Such is Life" Life is just that, we either can accept it or somehow change it...but either way, it is still our life.
Great job with this one, again..
    Love ya
