you think them to be.

wont prove to be lies.
Dwell not on their acts,
but rather on yours.
We'll search through your heart
for which fleeting thing soars.
We'll prod in the darkness
through all that you fear,
through dark storms and winds,
through all you hold dear.
We'll strengthen your name
and break down your walls,
and stumble down paths
from which the truth calls.
We'll find that one secret
that was never quite clear.
And I'll be there beside you,
your heart I'll hold near.

this is so sad, but also sweet at the same time, i love what you wrote, and rhyme scheme is really interesting to me (took me a while to catch it without stanzas but i still liked it a lot!) best of luck in the contest
