Strength In Wind's Sway

Missing image

Strength In Wind’s Sway

I live in a world with a tilted view,

crafted where corners were slightly slanted

Meek, yet not weak, I’m with those chosen few,

poet’s of society left stranded.

I grew up in a place called everywhere,

I’m versatile in thoughts I conceive

Though some live in dark crevices of fear,

I’ve found out many don’t live as they weave.

Propelled in motion from descriptive eyes,

never on the side lines of let it be

Ripple effects weep through indigo skies,

entwined with shadowy storms from the sea.

Minstrels drink ink without an inkling wrong,

so show compassion towards those without song.

Author notes

Option 8 Inspired.

How you take a photograph, and give it it's own meaning through your poetic talent. Nice job to say the least. Congrates on a fine masterpiece of a write! All the best!

You amaze me with your use of verbage, your descriptive view, and your out of the box imagery using a picture prompt! This is what makes this piece special to me, is to see your brilliant weavings in action. You can pen on anything it so seems, and this is just another piece you show your poetic skills. Nice sonnet, love the way it flows, as all your works just roll off the tongue so perfectly. I adore you, and love your works!

I like this poem, it has a nice flow to it and a nice amount of metaphor without becoming too metaphorical and all around confusing (like all too many of my writes). Good job with this and good luck in the future

    Interesting poem

with some trueisms within. I particularly liked the line"I’ve found out many don’t live as they weave." This is so true but seldom seen because of the media we use.

    Truly ...

I have a consideration for you?

Given your openness of heart-well, you know I cannot write in this style, and could sure use the help?

Wonderful expression of yourself, I love the fact that in all of you works you carry yourself without a difference, or, with an indifference.

Peace to you brother man ... Bravo!!!!
