I thought I had forgotten
teeth of Rocky mountains
gobbling grey wisps
of cotton candy clouds
wild western Alberta weather
whipping up a frenzy of emotions
I remember
this galloping
of stray horses
steering clear of gated enclosure,
galloping offside
to race in eye of sky;
a sudden smudge
easing itself over cornea
forcing one to focus
on what one might have missed
if they had truly forgotten.
Please tell me what you think

"grey horses" - what a startling, vivid image but then, you're a startlingly vivid poet, so it makes sense in context - eh?

somehow i have turned these grey horses into words roamed over the foothills of ap...knowing the focus has turned to the caroll, many of us have missed...
she soars once more a winged spirit, to child-like eyes
still hungry

so true....and they gallop home happily, to be sure. I will try and get on but the place I am at jsut now does not make for a great deal of cretivity other than how to not feel dopy from meds and confused over diabetic numbers. But, this is, as I have said, jsut a jog in the path!

You made me relive my short moments in the Alberta foothills . . . graphically spun like a spiderweb covered in the dew of the early morning . . . ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOU AGAIN, YOU HAVE BEEN SORELY MISSED SISTER . . .
