There are many things to compare thee to
A summers day or a droplet of dew
But none of these will ever satisfy
The person that you are to me and why
You are so truly inspirational
You light up my day when I hear you call
When you come up on my caller ID
It makes me smile just so brilliantly
The sun will come out on a stormy day
You hold me and all fears will go away
Even in bad weather and through the storm
You'll always be there, just to keep me warm
The sun, the moon and the stars intertwine
I am happy that I know you are mine
