Hello Jane
thought i would drop you a line
i`m writing you this poem from my garden in the sunshine
just a few things i want to tell you
because you left without saying goodbye
you made me break down and cry
i miss you so much why did you have to go that way
wish i could have told you before you had to go
just how much i loved you so
there are so many things i remember about you
you brought so much happiness to us all
you were our inspiration
you were our brick wall

now when i pass your home
it`s very hard not to stare
`cos i know you`re not inside
you no longer live there
i remember you waving to me at the front window
Grandma why did you have to go
my memories of you will always be nice ones
the love you gave to me i passed onto my sons
your family miss you Jane and send you their love
we know you are happy
drinking sherry with your family up above
i wonder if there`s a bus to take you to the store
you'd shop 24/7 if you could and more
I'm sure

i can`t wait for the day when we meet again
i`ll hold you in my arms
and keep you close by my side
Gran you can wipe the tears i may cry
i`ll tell you of everything thats been going on
since you've been gone
