Mutual comfort
searches sorrow's embrace,
as ice firmly clasps
our life's most bitter tragedy.
Family of three
in a world of wintry splendour,
future's promise shone
like fiery sunsets.
The essence of one
now expired,
leaves merely an infinity
of grief to explore.

This reminds me of the tragedy unfolding in NSW with the poor family who drowned. The sadness of this piece is just so raw and heartbreaking, as cute as the picture is, your words turned it for me into tears. Best to you in the contest
