Shadows in midnight dreams
Echoes of footsteps in brick-lined alleys
Spray can liberators on subway walls
Bandit Philosophers writing their art
Underground tags of anarchy calls
Phantoms of color purveyors of imagery
Silent screams a soundless call
A society hidden in streets called home
A thousand eyes that sing unsung songs
That voices here will never see
Words are written for hearts, you and me
But they are shadows that can not be bought
Evil advertising post-boards of shame
Tagging of products that shouldn't be named
Drugs that are legal seducing the mass
Signs called prosecutors keep off the grass
Tempting the shadows to answer the lies
So Bandit takes out a can and paints words blood red
We are expected to heed words that deceive
so Graffiti Prophets overprint truth that relieve
Open your eyes and see writings on wall
Legalised garbage they feed with distortion tall
sing songs of Graffiti that hear in the Head
Head some of its words so no more garbage we're fed
