Acceptance of reality
for the self that lives inside
no sin for accusation
just a quiet place to hide.
Introverted circumstance
lives inside my shell
should I give the world apologies
for this shyness I know well.
We're all so very different
so let me just be me
if you feel like your superior
well that’s as it maybe.
It’s the person that I am
so accept it as I do
I'm not a cause for pity
just remember, I'm not you.
