Scarlet memories fall,
Splashing on the cold bathroom floor.
Memories of when things were good,
memories that are long gone.
Broken dreams to match the broken face that stares back at me.
The blood may wash away,
and the bruises will heal,
But I will not forget,
I will not forget this night,
I am tired of sitting here
broken and torn.
I am a woman scorned.
Tomorrow I even the score...

This poem brings back memories and it makes me think about how all the abuse that i went through is no more and i am better. I loved this poem it was short and emotional.
